SUMMER SAFETY
🏕️ Campfire Safety
Only use designated fire rings where permitted.
Keep fires small and never leave them unattended.
Drown, stir, and feel the ashes before leaving—they should be cool to the touch.
🌿 Protect Against Brush Fires
Avoid parking vehicles on dry grass, as hot exhaust systems can ignite vegetation.
Clear leaves and dry debris from around your home.
🔋 Battery & Charging Safety
Charge e-bikes, scooters, and lithium-ion batteries on hard, non-combustible surfaces.
Never charge batteries overnight or near exits.
🚨 Test Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarms
Summer is a great time to test every alarm in your home.
Replace batteries if needed and replace alarms that are over 10 years old.
